The Carousel @ Bloomingdale’s is a store-within-a-store, featuring two 35-foot-wide video walls that deliver thematic content, designed by FLOAT4. Bloomingdale’s hopes to highlight the transformative element of the digital shop; a retail environment that connects shoppers to the products that surrounded them.

The products are dependent on different themes, meticulously curated by designated Bloomingdale’s ambassadors.

I am still working with this client in 2022.

We handled the program strategy, coordination and infrastructure design for The Carousel.

The team is working together with Bloomingdale’s to incorporate the season’s featured items into capsules for the video walls, designing an animated composition that mixes live action footage with real-time graphics.

I had the pleasure of working on the creative process

( moodboard, leading the creative team, pitch with clients) for five differents Bloomingdale's capsules.

The Carousel was developed to create a new shopping experience in a traditional setting, and allows for the client to offer up its own new products and brands. By doing so, Bloomingdale’s hopes to highlight the transformative element of the digital shop; a door to an entirely new retail environment.

We created a work-flow that could integrate live action, motion graphics, 3D and generative content that could be used for each capsule. The studio’s extensive grasp on the latest cameras, software and rendering tools enabled Float4 to procure the right content production technique to support the creative of each capsule, dynamic display ratios and resolutions. I still work as a freelancer for this brand.
